Etruscan Series

These sculptural pieces represent my interest in the Etruscan period and an investigation of the materials and techniques on a larger scale. The hand sculpture is a very personal reflection of my own experience using this

ancient medium. I have this huge scar from bypass surgery  and "Take my hand"  depicts my feelings towards that scar.  It has literally taken my hand, or my arm— neither of which are mine as they once were.
